Nigerian Air Force Releases Successful Candidates for BMTC 46/2025 Recruitment, Training Begins July 19

The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has officially announced the release of the list of successful candidates for the Basic Military Training Course (BMTC) 46/2025 Recruitment Exercise, marking another significant milestone in its efforts to strengthen the nation’s air power and military capacity.

In a public announcement issued by the Headquarters of the Nigerian Air Force, successful applicants who participated in the selection interview have been directed to check their names on the official NAF Recruitment Portal and prepare to commence military training at the Nigerian Air Force Military Training Centre (MTC), Kaduna. The announcement, signed by Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame, Director of Public Relations and Information at the Headquarters of the Nigerian Air Force, emphasized that all successful candidates must report to the training centre on Sunday, July 19, 2026.

According to the statement, the names of all successful applicants have been published on the official Nigerian Air Force Recruitment Portal. Candidates who participated in the recruitment exercise are encouraged to visit the portal promptly to verify their admission status and carefully read all accompanying instructions before proceeding to Kaduna for training.

The Nigerian Air Force stressed that only candidates whose names appear on the published list are expected to report for the commencement of the Basic Military Training Course.

The successful candidates are expected to report to the NAF Military Training Centre (MTC), NAF Base, Kaduna, where they will begin intensive military training designed to prepare them for service in one of Nigeria’s most strategic security institutions. The training programme is expected to include physical fitness exercises, military discipline, leadership development, weapons handling, aviation-related instruction, and other professional military courses required for new recruits.

Officials explained that the programme is designed to transform successful applicants into disciplined personnel capable of contributing effectively to Nigeria’s air defence and national security operations.

The Nigerian Air Force directed all successful candidates to report with the original copies and photocopies of their credentials, alongside every other item listed in the official joining instructions.

Candidates have been advised to study the joining instructions carefully to ensure they arrive fully prepared for the training programme. Failure to comply with the specified requirements may affect the admission process at the training centre.

The Air Force also used the opportunity to issue another strong warning to members of the public regarding recruitment scams. According to the statement, the recruitment exercise is completely free of charge, and applicants should not pay money to anyone claiming to influence, facilitate, or guarantee enlistment into the Nigerian Air Force. The service urged successful candidates and prospective applicants to ignore individuals or groups requesting payment in exchange for recruitment assistance, describing such persons as fraudsters seeking to exploit innocent Nigerians.

Applicants were reminded that all official information regarding recruitment is communicated solely through the Nigerian Air Force’s authorized channels.

The latest announcement reflects the Nigerian Air Force’s continued commitment to maintaining transparency and fairness throughout its recruitment process. Over the years, the military has repeatedly emphasized merit-based recruitment while warning applicants against unofficial agents and middlemen. Security experts have also encouraged applicants to rely only on verified information published through official government platforms to avoid becoming victims of recruitment scams.

Candidates whose names appear on the successful list are advised to: Visit the official Nigerian Air Force Recruitment Portal to confirm their selection. Read and understand all joining instructions carefully. Prepare both original and photocopies of all required credentials. Assemble every item listed in the joining instructions. Report to the NAF Military Training Centre, Kaduna, on Sunday, July 19, 2026.
