Fire Breaks Out at Terminal 1 of Murtala Muhammed Airport, Lagos



A fire incident has been reported at Terminal 1 of Murtala Mohammed International Airport in Lagos State.


According to preliminary information, the fire broke out within the terminal area, prompting an immediate emergency response. Firefighters and airport emergency services were swiftly deployed to the scene to contain the blaze.



Officials confirmed that fire service personnel are actively working to extinguish the fire and prevent it from spreading to other sections of the terminal.


As of the latest update, no casualties have been reported, no fatalities have been confirmed and the emergency teams remain on-site.

Airport authorities are coordinating with fire services and other relevant agencies to manage the situation and ensure passenger safety.
