Anthony Joshua Pays Emotional Tribute to Friends Killed in Lagos Car Crash


British heavyweight boxing star Anthony Joshua has paid a heartfelt tribute to his close friends, Sina Ghami and Latif “Latz” Ayodele, following their tragic deaths in a car crash near Lagos, Nigeria.


Joshua, who was involved in the accident, has since returned to the United Kingdom after attending the funerals of both men. The boxer sustained only minor injuries in the crash and is currently recovering.


In an emotional message shared on social media, Joshua reflected on the deep bond he shared with the late Ghami and Ayodele, describing the loss as a painful experience that extends far beyond himself.

        “It’s tough for me, but I know it’s even tougher for their parents. I believe God knows their hearts. May God have mercy on my brothers”, Joshua wrote.
