Ogun Police Neutralise Suspected Kidnappers, Recover Ransom Money and Weapons in Major Security Breakthrough 

The Ogun State Police Command has recorded a significant success in its ongoing campaign against kidnapping and violent crime following a series of intelligence-driven operations that led to the neutralisation of suspected kidnappers and the recovery of ransom proceeds, weapons, and other incriminating items.

The operation is being viewed as another major step in the fight against criminal gangs that have been terrorising communities and travellers in parts of Ogun State and neighbouring areas.

According to security sources, the breakthrough followed weeks of intelligence gathering and surveillance by operatives of the Ogun State Police Command’s Anti-Kidnapping Unit. Investigators reportedly tracked members of a kidnapping syndicate believed to have been responsible for several abductions within the state.
