Millions of social media users around the world experienced disruption after Facebook and Instagram suffered a widespread outage that affected access to accounts, feeds, and other platform services.

The unexpected disruption left many users unable to log into their accounts, while others reported being logged out without warning, triggering confusion and concern across multiple countries.

The outage quickly became one of the most discussed topics online as affected users flocked to alternative platforms to confirm whether the problem was widespread or limited to their accounts. Reports of login failures and service interruptions surged globally as the incident unfolded.


For many users, the first sign of trouble came when they were unexpectedly signed out of Facebook or Instagram.
