Police Arrest 62-Year-Old Over ₦130m Fraud, Recover ₦520m Luxury Cars in Lagos Crackdown

The Lagos State Police Command has recorded a significant breakthrough in its ongoing fight against crime, with the arrest of 47 suspects and recovery of high-value assets across the state within a two-week period. Among those arrested is a 62-year-old suspect allegedly involved in a ₦130 million fraud case, highlighting the scale and sophistication of financial crimes in Nigeria’s commercial capital.


One of the standout aspects of the operation is the arrest of the elderly suspect linked to a major fraud scheme. Authorities say: the suspect is connected to ₦130 million in fraudulent activities, and investigations are ongoing to uncover; possible accomplices, the full extent of the operation.
