In a disturbing twist that has left many Nigerians in shock, operatives of the Nigeria Police Force have arrested a graduate of the University of Uyo for allegedly running a covert criminal operation involving illegal weapons production and drug-infused food items.

According to reports from the Akwa Ibom State Police Command, the suspect was apprehended during a targeted raid in Uyo following credible intelligence. What officers discovered on arrival was nothing short of alarming. The residence, reportedly disguised as an ordinary living space, was allegedly being used as; a mini arms fabrication workshop, and a processing unit for cannabis-laced snacks, particularly chin-chin

During the operation, security operatives recovered, locally fabricated firearms and weapon parts, gunpowder and cartridges, equipment used in weapon modification, substances suspected to be cannabis, and packaged snacks believed to be infused with illegal drugs.

Authorities confirmed that the suspect has made initial statements during interrogation, and investigations are ongoing to uncover possible accomplices and distribution networks. The police also warned residents to remain vigilant, stressing that criminal activities are increasingly becoming more sophisticated and hidden in plain sight.
