Nigerian Army Opens 91 Regular Recruits Intake (RRI) Portal — Full Details, Requirements & How to Apply 

The Nigerian Army has officially announced the commencement of its 91 Regular Recruits Intake (RRI) exercise for trades and non-tradesmen and women. According to the announcement, the online registration portal will be open to qualified Nigerians who are interested in serving the nation through the military.


Interested applicants should take note of the official registration window, start Date, 30 March 2026, closing Date, 17 May 2026.  Applicants are strongly advised to complete their registration before the deadline, as late submissions will not be accepted.


The recruitment is open to, tradesmen and women (skilled applicants with professional qualifications), non-tradesmen and women (applicants without specialized skills). This means both skilled and unskilled individuals have an opportunity to apply.


While full criteria are available on the official portal, typical requirements include, must be a Nigerian citizen by birth, must possess a valid means of identification, minimum educational qualification (e.g., SSCE or equivalent), must be physically and medically fit,  and must have no criminal record. 

Additional requirements may apply depending on whether you are applying as a tradesman or non-tradesman.
