Peter Mbah Foundation Sends Off First Cohort of Overseas Scholarship Beneficiaries to Ireland


Enugu, Nigeria – In a landmark move to promote education and human capital development, the Peter Mbah Foundation, in partnership with LinkPro Consult Integrated Limited, officially sent off the first cohort of overseas scholarship beneficiaries this past weekend. The scholars are set to pursue higher education at top-ranking universities in the Republic of Ireland, on full scholarships covering tuition, stipends, and flight tickets.


The send-off ceremony was graced by the students and their parents, providing an opportunity to emphasize the dual significance of this moment: opportunity coupled with responsibility.

  “You are going out not just to study, but to serve as worthy ambassadors of Enugu state - in character, excellence and discipline. Stay focused, stay humble and obey the laws of your host country, and let your results speak loudly for you, your families and our dear state” remarked the host. 


The initiative highlights the Peter Mbah Foundation’s commitment to building human capital, creating genuine pathways through education and skills development, and opening global opportunities for indigenes and residents of Enugu State.


By investing in education and facilitating access to world-class institutions, the foundation is ensuring that the next generation of Enugu leaders is not only academically equipped but also socially responsible and globally minded.


This program is expected to have a long-lasting impact on the state, as these scholars return with knowledge, experience, and networks that will contribute to the socio-economic growth of Enugu and Nigeria at large.
