Ogun Police Recover Hijacked Trailer, Cement Cargo in Intelligence-Led Operation
The Ogun State Police Command has recorded a major operational success following the recovery of a hijacked trailer truck loaded with 900 bags of cement, alongside the seizure of a locally fabricated single-barrel pistol.
According to the police, the recovery was made during a coordinated, intelligence-driven operation carried out by operatives acting on credible information about criminal activity within the state.
Police sources explained that officers were mobilised after receiving intelligence reports pointing to the movement of a stolen trailer within the area. Acting swiftly, operatives tracked and intercepted the vehicle, leading to the recovery of the truck and its cargo.
During the operation, officers also discovered a locally made firearm, believed to be linked to criminal activities associated with the hijacking.

-One trailer truck earlier reported hijacked
-900 bags of cement loaded on the vehicle
-One locally fabricated single-barrel pistol
The recovered vehicle and goods have since been secured by the police.
