The emotional story of a missing child in Nigeria has finally come to a joyful conclusion. Chidera, who went missing in December 2025, has been safely reunited with his mother, bringing immense relief to the family and the community that rallied to help.

In a heartfelt Facebook post, Chidera’s mother expressed her gratitude to every Nigerian who contributed to the search:

"Thank you. Thank you. I'm forever grateful and indebted for the show of love during the search for my child. Every information, every post, every tag, every share was helpful and lead to finding my child"

The mother also acknowledged an anonymous hero who brought Chidera from Ibadan to Abeokuta after spotting his story online, highlighting the power of community and vigilance in times of crisis.

She further addressed misinformation that had been circulating, clarifying her child had been with her for the first ten years of his life and condemning false narratives suggesting otherwise.

"You can't tell my story better than me. You can't love my child more than me," she wrote, emphasizing her relief and the importance of truth.
