A tragic road accident has just occurred in Umuonu community, Enugu State, leaving residents in shock and mourning.


According to eyewitness accounts, the accident was caused by a one-way traffic violation. A commercial tricycle, popularly known as Keke, reportedly drove against traffic on a one-way lane and collided head-on with a heavy-duty trailer.


The impact of the collision was severe, leading to the loss of lives, although the exact number of casualties is yet to be officially confirmed at the time of this report. Emergency responders and local residents rushed to the scene in an attempt to rescue victims trapped in the wreckage.


Videos and images circulating from the scene show extensive damage to the tricycle, highlighting the force of the crash and raising serious concerns about road safety compliance in the area.
