Influencer Odira Nwobu Confirmed Dead as Family Awaits Final Autopsy Report

The death of Odira Nwobu, a content creator and brand promoter, has been officially confirmed by his family more than two months after the tragic incident that led to his passing.


In a statement shared on his social media page, the family explained that announcing Odira’s death publicly has been emotionally difficult, which accounted for the delay in making the information known.



Odira reportedly survived a serious road accident on June 27 while on his way to promote a brand. Despite the severity of the crash, he recovered enough to continue his professional engagements.


According to the family, the same brand later sponsored a trip to South Africa, where Odira eventually lost his life under circumstances that remain unclear.



Earlier reports had suggested that high blood pressure (BP) may have been responsible for his death. However, a preliminary autopsy reportedly ruled this out, raising further questions about what truly caused his passing.


The family disclosed that the full autopsy report has not yet been released, and they are awaiting the final medical findings to gain clarity on the circumstances surrounding his death.


“Our initial thoughts were BP, but the autopsy says otherwise,” the statement noted, describing the situation as painful and unresolved.



Odira’s remains are currently being kept at a mortuary in Awka, Anambra State. His burial has not yet taken place due to unresolved issues surrounding the autopsy and other logistical considerations.

As the family awaits the complete autopsy report, many supporters are calling for transparency and closure, while also respecting the family’s need for privacy during this difficult time.
