Nigerian billionaire industrialist and Chairman of BUA Group, AbdulSamad Rabiu, has once again earned public admiration after announcing that he will honour his $500,000 pledge to the Super Eagles, despite the team’s loss in their recent match.


In an emotional message addressed to the national team, Rabiu praised the players for their courage, unity, and determination on the pitch, emphasizing that the result of the game does not diminish the pride they brought to Nigerians at home and abroad.



Before the match, Rabiu had publicly promised a $500,000 reward to motivate the Super Eagles as they pushed forward in the competition, with additional incentives tied to winning and goal achievements.
