Tragic Accident in Nsukka: Trailer Crushes Two Tomato Sellers, One Died, One Hospitalized 

A fatal accident occurred yesterday in Nsukka, Enugu State, leaving the community in shock and mourning. Reports confirm that a trailer lost control due to brake failure and ran over two roadside tomato sellers.

Eyewitnesses say one of the victims died instantly at the scene, while the other was rushed to a nearby hospital unconscious, struggling for survival. The victims were reportedly carrying out their daily work when the tragedy struck, highlighting the risks faced by roadside vendors across the country.

The driver of the trailer reportedly tried to stop the vehicle but was unable to prevent the collision. Local residents have called for stricter enforcement of vehicle maintenance regulations and road safety measures, particularly along busy roadside markets, to prevent similar incidents in the future.

Authorities are investigating the accident, and the community is mourning the loss while praying for the speedy recovery of the hospitalized victim.
